Augusta was born into a broken family: her father had left without a trace before she and her twin brother Robert were born. Growing up, Augusta was very close with her mother, helping her as much as she was able, while Robert schooled Augusta on subjects such as writing, history, and swordplay, though she was never sure of why someone meant to be a proper lady would need knowledge on how to wield a blade.
In April of 1600, when Augusta was eighteen, her mother and brother were murdered by a family friend. She immediately set out for vengeance, and when she claimed it not a day later, the Assassins saw her potential and inducted her into their Brotherhood. Trained under the wise Cyril Bijoux, Augusta loyally served their cause for two years, but for the last few months of her allegiance with them, she began to witness their bloodlust, and blindness toward their original goal of peace.
At some point around the end of 1602, it’s apparent that Augusta learned of a truth that the Assassins had withheld from her regarding her family, but beyond New Years’ Eve of 1602, our records for her stop dead. For some reason, she drops completely off the radar. It doesn’t seem that the Assassins or Templars know what became of her, or how / when she died.
